FC Nordsjælland is one of the leading clubs in Denmark in terms of youth development. The name “FC Nordsjælland” was chosen to clarify that the club, is not only from Farum, but should be seen as the regional team of the whole region of Nordsjælland. To consolidate the status as a regional team FC Nordsjælland has build  a network of 54 regional football clubs that are part of FC Nordsjællands network.

FC Nordsjælland is owned by Allan K Pedersen, who is a local businessman. He has owned the club since its foundation in 2003. The home ground is Farum Park (10000). Farum Park is a modern stadium with top facilities. A four star hotel and conference center is an integral part of the stadium.
